The college educational paradigm (for all grade levels) respects the role of parents as the primary authority and expert regarding their children. We believe this model acknowledges and supports parents and guardians as the spiritual, moral, and academic head of education for their home. This model creates a culture of interdependence between school and home that strengthens family bonds and encourages students to excel as their parents are directly involved in their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

The SGCS College Model allows parents and students to choose an educational plan that works best for them. Through dual credit classes, Upper School - Rhetoric School (grades 9th-12th) will have the option to earn high school, as well as college credit hours at the same time.

The College Model schedule can be adapted to all levels. This schedule is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students spend alternate days at home where parents continue their instruction or monitor student progress. Teachers provide parents with detailed instructions for days spent at home.

Graduates of Sovereign Grace Classical School are prepared for college as Upper Grades have been exposed to college material and maintained a college schedule. Graduates are also prepared to successfully transition into full-time college (if that is their goal). Additionally, the college model teaches graduates the critical skills of time management and independent study.

Upper School students have the opportunity to seek employment on off days - if they attend the 3 day College Model option.
